- North bank only, from viaduct upstream for 5 fields to marker on tree close to river.
- Parking - On roadside 30 yards past railway or on grass to the left side of West End Farm road, twenty yards from the farm buildings. (Club I.D. disc must be displayed on windscreen)
- River access from West End, on foot, through farmyard between buildings and house and through gate. Keep left to second gate on left and follow track down to the river. Upper limit is 150 yards upstream.
- River access from Briscoe Road, on foot, along railway track and across viaduct, step over plain wire at end of bridge stonework on the left then fisherman's stile into wood.
